SINGAPORE , 11 January 2007 – Intermec Inc. recently received a 2006 Supply Chain Best Cooperation Award at the eagerly anticipated fourth China Logistics Annual Summit held in Beijing on December 2, 2006.
Some 500 senior managers and professionals from various sectors of the logistics industry attended the summit, making it one of the most influential logistics trade events of the year.
Members of the China Logistics Media Alliance, which consists of 24 leading trade publications, made up the panel of judges. Intermec received one of a total of ten 2006 Supply Chain Best Cooperation Awards that were granted. The criteria for selection included the company scale, annual turnover, profit growth, strengths of flagship products and brand awareness.
According to statistics from the China Logistics and Procurement Association, the volume of the China’s logistics market in 2006 totaled RMB55 trillion. This represented a growth of 15% compared with 2005.
